About Stitch & Style

Garment care with a redesign focus

We remodel, alter, and upcycle garments with careful attention to fit, fabric, and the story behind each piece.

Stitch & Style works with clothing that deserves a second life, from everyday alterations to thoughtful redesign projects. Every piece is reviewed for construction, condition, and the changes it can realistically support.

Our approach is practical and creative: we assess the garment, discuss the concept, confirm the scope, and then carry out the work with approval at the right stages. The result is clothing that feels more usable, more current, and more personal.

Our story

A studio for garments worth keeping

Built around appointment-led tailoring and remodelling in Santa Fé, with a focus on reuse, fit, and honest project planning.

Since 2019, Stitch & Style has been helping clients update garments instead of setting them aside. The studio brings together tailoring knowledge and remodelling ideas so each project can be shaped around the fabric that already exists.

We work especially well with sustainability minded customers, vintage clothing owners, and people who want to keep meaningful garments in use. That can mean a fit update, a restyle, or a more ambitious upcycling project.

Projects begin with inspection and a clear conversation about what is possible. If a redesign depends on fabric condition, construction, or material availability, we say so before work moves ahead.

What guides us

Values behind every project

Our work is shaped by honest quoting, practical fitting, and respect for the material already in your wardrobe.

ST

Careful assessment

We start with the garment itself, reviewing fabric, seams, wear, and structure before quoting or planning the work. That keeps each project realistic from the beginning.

AP

Clear approvals

Design approval comes before additional work, so the agreed direction stays clear. If a project needs extra steps, we confirm them first.

RE

Material matching

Where available, we match original thread and trim to respect the garment's character. When exact materials cannot be confirmed, we discuss suitable alternatives.

UP

Upcycling mindset

We look for ways to reuse strong parts of the original piece and reduce waste through remodelling. Some repairs may remain visible, but the garment can still gain new life.
